All Ellipsem jewelry is deliberately left uncoated, so it will naturally darken and patina with wear, which adds depth and dimension to each piece. If you prefer a shinier finish, polish your pieces with a standard jewelry polishing cloth. For brass pieces, you can also mix Bon Ami cleaning powder with water to form a paste and buff gently with a soft toothbrush.
Do not use jewelry cleaning dips. Always remove your jewelry before swimming, using chemicals or entering a hot tub or sauna, as this may cause dramatic changes to the patina of your jewelry.
