A.B. Uniform is a New York City-based brand that re-imagines classic uniforms to create garments for everyday wear. Founded in 2019 by Antonia Belt, the company is rooted in simplicity, craftsmanship and durability—both in style and construction.
Growing up in Berlin, Antonia learned her trade as a men’s tailor in the German guild system. Antonia has always been inspired by workwear and uniforms, for how they stand the test of time and the unity they represent; whether they are the blue jackets of French factory workers, the black corduroy suits of German carpenters, the colorful aprons of her grandmother, or the ubiquity of a pair of jeans.
A.B. Uniform is a brand for people who love great pockets. They give pockets the attention they deserve in their functionality, careful construction and their cohesive design.
A.B. Uniform uses organic fabrics wherever possible and all of their denim is American dead-stock. Most fabrics are 100% cotton, ethically sourced and produced in the US and Japan.
A.B. Uniform's studio and showroom is in Brooklyn NY and the collection is manufactured by skilled craftspeople in small factories in NY (Manhattan, Brooklyn & Queens) and Japan.
